'They say that good Americans go to Paris to die; the hard-working Canadians would prefer Victoria' (BC). Spine and top edge of boards quite sunned. Name in pencil on front endpaper; date stamped on blank page at rear - no other markings. Binding sl. strained but nothing loose. Overall, in good plus condition. Ill.: black-and-white photographs. An account of his Lordship's 50,000 miles 'up and down the world'. Winnington-Ingram was bishop from 1902 to 1929.
