'thumbed'; else in vg condition,This is a unique copy, as it is inscribed and signed by the author: 'With Author's compliments' (signature) 'Charles Peterson'. It is also signed on the top of the front cover 'S. S. Garson'. Stuart S. Garson (1898-1977) was premier of Manitoba from 1943 to 1948. This copy neatly annotated in red ink on about ten pages. It appears that this copy may be ex-library (whether institutional, or personal, is unclear) as the smudge to the front cover, and the smudges to the title page and inside rear cover, appear to be attempts to remove small rubber stamps.
