Description: Toronto, William Briggs, 1890. Hardcover. pp. 389. 8vo. Navy cloth with gilt lettering to spine and front board, bevelled boards. Portrait frontispiece with tissue guard, folding map; all illustrations present as called-for in contents list, but with only one map whereas two are seen in other copies. Slight spine slant, spine pulled, edges and boards rubbed, internally clean and unmarked, binding sound; very good. .
