Black and white photographic plates. Very good (no dustjacket). Higinbotham (1864-1961) was, according to Peel's Bibliography of the Prairie Provinces, a pioneer druggist who began business in MacLeod, Alberta, in 1884. He moved to Lethbridge the following year and was that city's postmaster from 1886 to 1910. This is a reprint edition of this book (which was first published in 1933) and recounts the author's experiences in the MacLeod-Lethbridge district. It contains a new Preface to the Second Edition and an 'Introduction to the re-production' by Norman Lindsay Higinbotham.
