Incl. booklet (12 pp.) in which Pijnenburg explains Koor's artistic developement. 23 x 17 cm. In a very good condition, just light scuffing, almost as new. Charles Hargrove, aka Kool Koor ("KOOR" is his artist name as a turn around of "ROOK" which means tower in the chessplay), was born in New York in 1963. He is a product of the South Bronx and is considered one of the pioneers of Graffiti Street Art in New York, along with Rammellzee, Quik, Dondi White, Crash and Futura. His works can be seen in the most prestigious museums in the world, such as the Metropolitan Museum in New York City, the Groninger Museum in the Netherlands and the BAM in Bergen.
