Black morocco spine and corners over marbled boards. Corners and hinges carefully strengthened. Edges rubbed. Smooth spine with gilt banding and faded title. Bookplate to verso of the front board: "Brynkinalt Library." Endpapers, first few leaves; and l;ast few leaves foxed, otherwise clear French text with only the odd brown spot. VG. N.B. I have found references to other French Language Books with the Brynkinalt Library Label. Also: There is a reference to Madame De Genlis visiting "The Ladies of Llangollen" in 1791.
