Both he and his illustrator, Leech, died before publication by Bradbury and Evans. It first appeared as a 12 part serialisation in 1865 followed by publication in book form in the same year. H K Browne completed the outstanding 12 illustrations.. G: in Good condition without dust jacket. Some rubbing and wear to covers. Corners bumped. Contents clean, tight and free from foxing .
