Spine worn with loss. Hinges weak but holding. Minor worming [defunct] to top edge of last 80 pages of volume I and to top edge of prelims of volume II with no impact on text. Light foxing in places. Some pencil annotations in both volumes. Content in overall good condition. Illustrated heraldic bookplate on paste-down of Sir James Gordon Bart of Letterfoury [Letterfourie] .
