The addenda 'May-Day Night' is translated by Percy Bysshe Shelly. Schiller's Fight with the Dragon was published in 1825 by Boosey and Sons.. G : in Good condition. Cover rubbed and bumped with corner and edge wear. Leather from lower corner part missing. Spine scuffed with chips at ends. Contents tight. Scattered browning. One plate [No. 2] is missing (not bound in) out of the 26 relating to the section 'Faustus: From the German to Goethe'. The final section bound in entitled 'Sixteen Outlines of Schiller's Fight with the Dragon' contains two pages of Explanation and 25 verses, no illustrations .
