Heraldic book-plate of Sir Thomas Neame 'Ne A Meta Oculos Avertam' with his signature on fep. Author's signature dated Feb. 22. 1747/8 laid on to title page.. G: in good condition. Spine darkened and title label rubbed. Some occasional offsetting otherwise contents bright. Inner hinge cracking. Tears at fold of plan. Book plates on paste-down and some relevant ephemeral included in prelims. Dated signature of author pasted onto base of title page .
