Description: London, London University. 1966, First Edition. 195mm x 260mm tall (7.75" x 10.25" approx.). Pp 319-352 inclusive, plus 4 b/w photo-plates, in the "The Guildhall Miscellany, Volume II, Number 8, September 1966. [Also contained is a 14pp article by Walter M.Stern on the involvement of Angela Burdett-Coutts in the Columbia Market; A select Bibliography of relating to the Great Fire of 1666, and a list of Bills of Mortality in the London Records Office and Guildhall Library.] Withdrawn and sold from Keele University Library, with a few neat stamp-impressions and labels. Otherwise very good, in the original black-printed thin blue-card covers. The object of this Miscellany is to record discoveries of literary or antiquarian interest based wholly, or in part, on material in the custody of the Library Committee of the Corporation of London. It is hoped by this means to make more widely known, contributions to knowledge, within the special fields, which would otherwise find little opportunity of appearing in print" - Raymond Smith, Librarian and Curator, and Director of the Art Gallery, Guildhall, London. Postage will be reduced for this item. Very Good.
