McPhun, of 34, Argyle Street, Glasgow. With the sepia-printed bookplate of the Comrie Reference Library, London [with photograph of L.J. Comrie, M.A. P.hD. F.R.S. 1893-1950]; the stamp impression to the front free endpaper of the Scientific Computing Service Library, and a small circular impressed stamp of R Smith & Sons, Grain Merchants, Mid Calder, with, affixed to the front pastedown, the calling card of Robert Smith, Almond Bank,Mid-Calder, and a small label "Bought at McPhun's...Glasgow". Original blind-ruled brown cloth-covered boards rubbed and faded, and with rear endpaper hinge reinforced. Internally good.
