It is based largely on Francois Huber’s Observations sur le vol des oiseaux de proie, Geneva, Paul Barde, 1784 (Harting 182) and the falconry chapter in the Encyclopédie d’histoire naturelle, Paris, 1850.Occasional spotting, a little soiled and creased.
