(of which 12 coloured by hand) on 5 plates, 11 (9 folding) letterpress tables, 1 fold. manuscript lithographed table. Modern cloth, printed title label to backstrip, uncut. Apart from the modern binding a very good copy. - The author was professor of botany and medicine at the University of Königsberg. He was murdered on 28 June 1821 near Agrigento, on a research trip to Sicily.
