With two neat small inked names: "Diesing" on verso of front cover, and "Teller" on corner of title-page. - Very rare original printing of the description of the geology of the classic spa town of Karlsbad (now in Czechia). and its vicinity. Of fundamental importance as a basic contribution to Von Hoff's concept of 'Actualism" which emphasized the greath lenght of geological time during which the processes influencing the formation of the features of of the earth's crust were and still are basically the same. - Dict.
