Description: Wrexham & London, John Painter & W. Baynes, 1801 2 vols. Hardback, 10 x 6 ins. Half bound brown calf leather and marbled paper covered boards. Gilt lettering to spines, with raised and gilt banding. In good conditions. Covers quite heavily worn; corners and edges bumped and rubbed, spines and boards rubbed, hinges cracked and split (cloth reinforced on insides.) Some chips to leather on spine. Bookplates to front endpapers “Stanley Leighton.” Frontispeice mildly foxed, page edges rough cut. A couple of very minor marks/slight darkening to the odd page else inside pages all very clean and tight throughout. With an engraved frontis portrait of the Author. 429 + 409pp.
