On donne la préférence à la deuxième éd. avec les illustrations de Hadamard. Récit du voyage en Suisse effectué en 1833, où il visita Andermatt, Oberalp Pass, Peiden, Valserberg Pass, Coire, Saint-Gall, Appenzell, Glarus, etc. 'A very interesting traveller was Count Théobald Walsh. His descriptions of the ascent of the Rigi, of the arrival of the tourists at the inn, and of the motley parade to see the sunset or sunrise, is in the best vein of Mark Twain or Alphonse Daudet. But one of the most interesting passages of his book is the account of his journey from Ilanz to Hinterrhein, by a route still comparativly unknown to tourists...' (de Beer). Fine copy.
