References in this story are made to Mr. Bakewell, Dr. Barry & Mr. Auldjo. The woodcut illustrations show a.o. 'the sea of Ice, Mont-Blanc, Ascending Mont-Blanc near Mulets Rocks, Sliding down the Mont-Blanc (after Auldjo, perhabs Browne in his 'Ten scenes of the last ascent of Mont-Blanc' of 1853 were inspired by this Newspaper illustration). A desirable copy & early item for the Mont-Blanc collector. Please notify before visiting to see a book. Prices are excl. VAT/TVA (only Switzerland) & postage.
