Clean pages but with many foxing marks and tainted pages on the outer edges, inscription written on the first blank page of the book including the date(Christmas, 1947), a couple of small creases on the edge of the pages, scratch, nick and light shelf wear on the cover. The book is in good condition for its age but the condition of the Dj is poor. 544pp. A collectable first edition. Good/Poor.
