Published by the Amsterdam society for artists and architects Architectura et Amicitia on the initiative and under supervision of the Dutch Architect Hendricus Theodorus Wijdeveld. The first eight years, up to 1925, Wijdeveld was the only editor and designer of the magazine. The covers are printed in woodcut, lithography (partly offset) and designed by a large range of artists, including a.o. Hildo Krop, C.A.
