Description: Amsterdam, ca. 1960's / 1970's. Original messing stamp. Size: 21,5 x 23 cm. - Minimal oxidisation. * Likely was produced for embossing the Menu cover for the New Amsterdam Grill, a restaurant of the Amsterdam Hilton. The plate depicts the map of 1664 of New Amsterdam just as the English had taken it over from the Dutch. The plan shows (in reverse) Lower Manhattan to Wall Street and the Hudson River.
