This copy is complete with all the 25 plates plates included in the list of plates and the line drawings accompanying the text. - - Preface by Jean Badovici, text by Eugène Freyssinet. The 25 plates with photographs presenting a number of Freyssinet's massive projects: Compagnie des radiators in Dammaries-les-Lys, hangars at Orly, etc. Eugène Freyssinet (13 July 1879 - 8 June 1962) was a French structural and civil engineer. He was the major pioneer of prestressed concrete. - Very rare and complete copy. Very rare in this condition.
