Text in Italian. - - Issued by CIAM: Congressi Internazionali di Architettura Moderna (or: Congrès internationaux d'architecture moderne, or: International Congresses of Modern Architecture). - - The organization CIAM was founded in 1928 and dissolved in 1959. CIAM was responsible for a series of congresses and events organized throughout Europe under the direction of the most eminent architects of the time. Its aim was to spread the principles of the modern movement, targeting all major domains of architecture (such as urban planning, landscape, industrial design, etc.).
