Lithographes printed by Casparie in Groningen. - - Wilhelmus Bernardus Gerardus (Willem) Molkenboer (Leiden, June 8, 1844 - Amsterdam, December 9, 1915) was a Dutch draftsman and sculptor. He was at the basis of the development of drawing education in the Netherlands and devoted his entire life to its further organization. He was the founder and director of the first school for the training of art teachers, the Rijksnormaalschool voor Teekenonderwijzers, founded in 1881 and located in a side building of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
