Large folio. - Title-page with a stamp of the Rijksschool voor Kunstnijverheid (Amsterdam) on recto & verso, al lvs with an identical (vague) stamp. on verso; plate nr. 36 w. large restored tear (strengthened on verso with Japanese paper); plate 103 sl. creased; margin of plate 122 sl. spotted; table of contents creased (strengtened on verso with JApanese paper); covers w. a few rubbed spots. - Overall a good to very good copy.= Very rare. # Cf. Siegelaub p.209. - The Rijksschool voor Kunstnijverheid Amsterdam was founded in 1880 and was housed in the building of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, at the same time as the National School for Drawing Teachers until 1924. The Rijksschool was closed in that year.
