Large 4o. - Spine is a later 19th century addition, edges of the front- and back-covers very slightly worn, text and plates in very good condition (no foxing, all fly-leaves present).* Ludwig Gottlieb Portman (also called Lodewijk Portman or Ludwig Portman) (Darmstadt 1772 - after 1828) was a draftsman, print artist and art dealer. Hew as active in Amsterdam between 1794 - 1810 & 1817 - 1825. Attractive prints.
