The owner was Olaf Stoop, also a leading member of the Provo movement. This shop and publisher was a center for alternative comic artists from Amsterdam. - - The publisher published six issues of the Real Free Press Illustratie, which published work by many well-known American underground artists such as Robert Crumb, Will Eisner, Victor Moscoso, S. Clay Wilson, as well as Dutch artists such as Peter Pontiac, Evert Gerardts and Joost Swarte. The translations were by Martin Beumer. Each issue also featured one or more American cartoonists and cartoonists, not necessarily just underground artists. Regular comics from the early 20th century, such as Krazy Kat, Little Nemo in Slumberland and Bringing Up Father were also reviewed. - Text in Dutch.
