The artist in this book is the engraver and draftsman active in the beginning of the 16th century in Italy. The unnamed artist received his note name after the indicated time on his engravings. The used drypoint technique indicates that the country of origin is most likely Germany, as this technique was invented in northern Germany around 1500.
