The Art Nouveau cover design is by Sarah Wyman Whitman, one of the most important book designers of the 19th Century. Spines and bottom edges lightly sunned, small loss at the head of the spine of Volume 2 only, else near fine; unmarked (aside from some old brief bookseller's markings on the endpapers), tight, square, and clean.
