Woolf's essay was first published in the Nation & Athenaeum, a British weekly newspaper, on September 28, 1929. This is the first edition in book form. In its original green slipcase with a Dwiggins paste-down on cover. The volume is in perfect, pristine condition, unmarked, tight, square and clean.
