Generously illustrated with several maps (many fold-out), and engraved portraits. Volumes 1-5 are the 2nd Edition and were published in 1758. Volumes 6 - 10 are the 3rd edition and were published in 1759. The first 10 volumes were published for Rivington, Fletcher, and Baldwin. Volume 11 was published in 1760 for Richard Baldwin. Volume 12 - 16 constitute the 1st edition of the Continuation of the Complete History of England by Tobias Smollett, and were published in 1760-1765 for Richard Baldwin.
