John Sidney Hawkins (1758 – 1842) was an English antiquarian. Considered reclusive, he is known largely for his publications. Quite scarce in this first edition.. Brief bibliographic note ("1st Edition") in pencil on ffep, otherwise unmarked, light shadow on title page, minor foxing on concluding pages, front exterior hinge just starting, else fine; titght, square, and clean.
