Albert Frederick Pollard (1869-1948) was an English historian and Professor of Constitutional History at University College, London. Best known for his history "The Evolution of Parliament" (1920), he contributed five hundred articles to the Dictionary of National Biography and was a founder of the Historical Association in 1906, which still plays an important role in the teaching of history throughout the United Kingdom..
