Description: New York, 21 May 1947. Letter. Scarce AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED by the poet to a Mr. Roberts about his first book. In part: "Thank you for your letter. Unfortunately, I can help you very little myself. There was a little privately printed (on a hand-press by Stephen Spender) book of my poems in 1928. As to the Faber 1930 volume, I have no idea how many copies there were in the first issue."
