Text by several contributors. Grandville was a caricaturist best known for presenting animals and flowers in human form and using them to satirize the French social and political milieu of his period. Ill.: J. J. Grandville. Foxing to the text, but the color plates are quite clean. A few plates loose or detached in the second volume. Very Good set of this classic .
