Vol.II + [1p=list of plates] + 239pp including Conclusion + [2pp =plate list ] + [11pp of Index] There are a few short tears without loss of text or image and a some pages of both volumes are somewhat foxed and approximately 7 or 8 corners have creasing. The last leaf of the first volume is cut short by 1cm at the fore-edge. The second volume has damp marking to the upper margin of the Index leaves which, half way through the index, also has a marginal paper repair to one leaf. Again here the foxing and the damp stains are nowhere near any print. There is some Waviness to the central part of the paper and in the case of plate III there is some offsetting of the print onto the sky portion of the illustration and on the blank verso of that plate. The paper of this illustration has a yellowish tint compared to the rest of the plates. The artist and engraver are named with the Edward Orme details given below each of the 40 illustrations and these are all dated 1807 in both volumes. This edition has the first volume titlepage dated Orme 1807 but the second volume titlepage is printed "for H.R.Young" and dated 1819. There are some other signs of use, mainly to the margins but all the lovely, lively hand-colored plates are beautifully and carefully brightly coloured with the plate numbers shown on the upper corner.
