Title in red & black + [24]pp prelims + 351pp +[1]p tabula; Vol.2 Title +[4]pp prelims +492pp + [14]pp tabula, index & errata, collated complete. Coat of arms bookplate to pastedown. Neat tight copy with printed side notes in italics, first title with faded name which can't be read, otherise no annotations or loose pages, 3 gatherings with minor marking and a few repairs, else very crisp, cleanly printed typography. *An early study of the "secrets of the human mind" (psychology) and of occult subjects, astrology and physionomy.
