Some are only small vignettes others surround the musical score. The front free end paper records that the book was given to Janet [Byng-Hall] by Graham [Sutherland] in 1909 when he was aged 6 and Janet was only 3. Included are later cuttings from The Times obituary of Grahan Sutherland in 1980 with the notes that the eminent artist's brother Humphry was Janet Byng-Hall's father's godson. A nice association for a lovely book.
