This and the last leaf with Gymnastic displays + 4 pages given over to military persons in three or four groupings [Alpine soldiers,cavalry etc] are not stories. Almost all of the other pages are in 16 small pictures making up a story sequence in one page. Some are humorous,some historical,others moral etc. but each is complete in one page.The paper of these Image d'Epinal is rather tanned, a few have traces of pencilling on the blank backside and a few having small tears,usually without any loss,but some with corner creases and sm.corner losses, never affecting any images.Though title implies that there are 100 images this seems to be a Part I volume
