Description: London, Tuck 1894 Doll with stand + 4 costumes + 3 hats (B,C,D) . Has original pictorial embossed folder (rubbed/wear to sidewalls and closure) Boy Doll 9" with patented APPLIED head and original stand. It has a repaired right hand, neck crease and calf crease. Pink outfit has one toe crease, & outfit D has tight crease,and ribbon creasing, the head has been reattached. Hat C has plume crease and penciled letter P by the head slit. In nice clean bright condition fully marked with Tuck logo and each piece marked with Artistic series V and by appointment ...to the Queen (U.S.Patent Feb 20 1894). *Tuck was the foremost publisher of paper dolls and this is their golden age. Boy dolls are far scarcer than girl dolls.
