The end papers are a bit marked and edges of pages are pale tan or sl.foxed and there are some other signs of use but the paper is crisp and strong with a watermark that includes a lion? And a armorial bearing but since only part of the watermark is visible at the gutter edge we cannot determine the origin of the paper. The illustrations are in a variety of frames with a title to the bottom of the frame. They are very clean and full of detail with poems and verses throughout.
