Description: oxford, Clarendoniano 1903 [but prossibly as late as 1932] Text in GREEK throughout . 3 Volumes 8vo red-brown cloth with black cover details and lettering to covers and spine [Vol.I rather tired & rubbed/corners bumped/ Vols. 2 & 3 sl.rubbed but neat and tight] half title "Scriptorum Classicorum Bibliotheca Oxoniensis" +Titlepage + Preface etc. [totalling 22 pages + errata insert] 451pp - page 22-3 have a few underlinings as also p43-47 and pages 225 to 333 have english translations of words neatly put into the margins. Only some of the pages have these notes and they are quite readable. Though the binding is rather tired the contents are well attached, without tears and not fingered but with a few names to endpapers. Volume II part 1 carries on from Part I numbers 451-808 and is clean and crisp and Volume II Part 2 continues to 1026 followed by a list of Oxford classical texts. There are translations and underlinings,mainly in pencil,to pages 813-835. Aside from the 2 names to the front free endpapers some penciled notes to the rear endpapers the book otherwise seems not to have been used and is in very good shape.
