A few signs of use but a very neat tight copy. *Story of a young artist set to copy a Gainsborough is duped by a dealer who subsitutes the real picture for the copy and the artist is then accused of stealing it. Because he refuses to flee when accused he is at last believed and freed. The second story is also about theft, a servant girl is accused but an old couple who first think she is their long lost daughter speak up for her and even though she turns out not to be the daughter they befriend her. The last about a parrot and her long lost sailor.
