Fascinating photos of not only the traditional tourist places but also Elephant & Castle, suburban parks e.g. Connaught Water, Chingford, Tooting Bec Common and long gone buildings and monuments. Poor with no dust jacket.

E. J. Larby Ltd. 1919. First Edition. Softcover. Linen backed foldout map (33 x 26.5 inches). Card covers rubbed and creased, spine title partially worn away. Map has some short splits at folds. Previous owner has coloured in The Thames, underlined some towns in red, drawn concentric circles at 5, 10, 15 & 20 mile radii and has put in a thick red line from Chiswick to Staines plus a circle around Heathrow. No date but adverts for Roadfaring Guides on back cover state that Northern England will be ready in 1920, therefore assume this is 1919. Good.

An attractive copy which has been sympathetically rebound to a very high standard. A treasure trove of information. Heavy book, nearly 4kg. Very Good with No dust jacket as issued.
