A loose page 315/6 & illustration has also been badly attached with the same heavy tape. Edges marbled; Brown half leather boards has 5 raised bands with gilt decoration & lettering. Wear to all edges & scuffing to front cloth cover. Volume 2----- Good/ No dj; 9.5" x 7"; lvi, 468pp with a Memoir of the Author & illustrative engravings by D. O. Hill and K. Halsewelle; Pages in double column, treble ruled . Foxing throughout , internal hinges cracked but firm, pencil marks on ffep, some pages marked & age browned; Edges marbled; Brown boards with leather at corners & spine. 5 raised bands on spine with faded gilt decoration & lettering. Small split at top of spine, edges worn, still a good solid copy.
