Exceptionally scarce and rather splendid, with top edge of boards and pages trimmed to shape of clown's ruff. Much entertainment internally, with short verses and illustrations by Barrett titled The Three Handed Boxer, The Musical Clowns, The Clown Jockey, Aerobatic Clown, The Merry Skaters, Aerobatic Cycling Clown, Rival Clowns, The Barbarous Clown, and The Great Hat Feat. General wear and some light marking. Binding strengthened externally with green cloth strip and internally with white. Thus definitely not a pristine copy, however exceptionally scarce and still appealing. Folio. Unpaginated [10pp]. Good/No Jacket.
