Ancient full leather boards, five raised-bands (overlying leather gone), 18 tracts in total with each tract 20-30 pp. A sturdy and overall nice copy of this compilation of two years' worth of Proceedings. Quite rare, could use a clamshell box or a rebinding. Includes the special printing of the tract "The proceedings at the sessions of the peace, and oyer and terminer, for the city of London, and county of Middlesex, held at Justice-Hall in the Old-Bailey, on Friday the 27th of February .. upon a bill of indictment found against Francis Charteris, Esq; for committing a rape" printed in April of 1730. Each tract presents Brief accounts of the trials, with charges, depositions, verdicts and sentences. Most cases are thefts or assaults, some rape and murder as well. Good+, various soiling spots or toning here or there, last page heavily soiled no rear free endpaper,one page seen with a small tear about an inch long, front boards is off rear board better but tender.
