It is preceded by a an introduction of 53 pages, and accompanied by notes in French. Volumes 3,4 & 5: contain the first 9 books of Vergils Aeneis with on the opposite page the French translation of Delille, 'Énéide, livres I-IX'. They have also an introduction, and accompanying notes. Volume one has a portrait of Jacques Delille, engraved by Potrelle and designed by Danloux, and a 4 page facsimile of a letter written in 1785 by Delille from Constantinople. The other 4 volumes show an engraved frontispiece and an small engraving on the title) (Volumes 1-5 of a 16 volumes set.
