Striking wood-cut frontispiece depicting Shakespeare signed G.W.H. accompanied with one additional wood-cut illustration. Boldly signed in ink by the author to the limitation page / colophon. Light edgewear, light scuffs to the spine label, very faint traces of scattered foxing to the upper-margin of a few leaves otherwise the text-block remains overwhelmingly bright, clean, and unmarked with firm, sound biding. A thoroughly lovely edition. This Edition, printed on hand-made paper, numbered and signed by the Author, is limited to two hundred and fifty copies for sale, and twenty-five copies for presentation, of which this is No. 140.
