Very clean and mainly tight although Contents' leaf loose (but present). General map before title-page detached from base but neatly so and with no loss, very minor damp-spotting to page 3. Actually covers the whole of the dual-monarchy, Austria-Hungary, despite the title only stating 'Austria'. The 10th and eleventh editions, however, give the words 'Austria-Hungary' to the cover and title page. Earlier the 'Austrian Empire' had been included with Southern Germany. I: Vienna and its Environs. II: Upper and Lower Austria, Salzkammergut, and Salzburg.
